Strawberry Festival

Each spring, the city of Kirtland hosts the annual strawberry festival, which is sponsored by The Kiwanis Club of Kirtland. The festival includes a carnival, a parade, flea market, craft and commercial booths, and of course, STRAWBERRIES! The main area for this event is just down the street from our church building. Our congregation participates by providing plenty of parking in multiple parking lots. All of the money that is raised from the parking costs goes to help send our youth (and their friends) to church retreats that are hosted at our mission center campground in Pennsylvania.
